Record 12: The Voice in Glass- Song
Vaelorin Ashward enters the second site named in the Council’s authorization: an archive structure carved to endure, standing intact and yet, stripped of every record with unnerving precision. There is no scattered vellum, no stray binding thread, no chaotic ruin. Only shelves left bare as if emptiness itself has been curated. While mapping the hall’s structure, Vaelorin discovers a hidden stone panel. Behind it lies a copper-veined cradle fitted for a single object, and above it, faint dragon iconography. After an unsettling event, what survives is the worst kind of proof: an event recorded, an object destroyed, and a few seconds of sound that cannot be repeated.
