Interlude 12: Glass Choir Echo – Erathar

Interludes

Some evidence does not survive handling. This Interlude is filed from the second site, an archive hall carved to endure, standing intact and deliberately emptied. After a brief, impossible burst of preserved choir from an unknown cinder-glass artifact, the sound is gone and the object has collapsed to grit. What remains is silence with a new shape. “Glass Choir Echo” is not a reconstruction and offers no explanation. It is a field song: one voice holding the memory of a chord that cannot be repeated, recorded in the only way still available, by breath, by steadiness, and by refusal to invent what isn’t there.
